Someone Exactly Like You
Celine and Jesse is perhaps the most admirable on-screen couple I've ever known. Ten years have come between them; life happened, marriage happened... kids happened. And yet there they were, in Paris, telling each other what life has done to them and where it's left them now. When you're in Paris, it's hard not to be astounded by the charming beauty all around you; it's hard not to be distracted by so many things the city has to offer; the sweets heaven, the landmarks, the cuisine, everything. Yet the most interesting part of his visit was her. And they managed to talk to each other because they have this urge to let each other know that they're glad they found themselves together again. Such a happy reunion, such a sad story. It's like they're trying so hard to tell each other, "Yeah, how are you? Where should I start? Life happens to me, you know. I guess that means I grow up. We grow up. Life's not all sugar and spice, but that's okay though. I think I can take it. I think I'll be fine. Can you please stay here? No? Well... I hope you're happy. You deserve to be happy. Please be happy."

Teenage Dream
4 years from now, when I'm done with my masters degree from LSE, I'm gonna stay in London, spend my spare times watching plays or alone in galleries or museums all around the town or maybe simply working at a small vinyl store in Notting Hill. I'm gonna travel to Paris at holidays and visit art museums. And then there I met you, standing right next to me, staring at the same painting and talk about it over coffees in a small café or cheap champagne in the banks of Seine River. In 24 hours, we'd decided to fall in love.
But maybe you never exist.

Kids in the streets drinking wine on the banks of Seine River
Paris Je T'aime - Quais de Seine (Banks of Seine)
by Gurinder Chadha
I'm really fascinated about River Seine's banks in Paris. It was clearly visible that day when I had a Seine River Cruise on a boat that the jeunes Parisiens are having a great time hanging out there. They enjoy drinking, smoking, having good times with friends.... and all of that, is just so amazing.

"Life is not a beauty contest, some [ugly people] are great. What I hate is nasty, ugly people… the worst is ugly, short men. Women can be short, but for men it is impossible. It is something that they will not forgive in life… they are mean and they want to kill you"Fashion is the healthiest motivation for losing weight"I’m too superficial, egoistic and too involved with myself to have children. I’m not sure if I’m made to have children."Today is today, yesterday is yesterday, the future is the time that is left.

Bon Travail, Audrey!
Chanel N° 5 TV ads. Starring Audrey Tautou. (previous ads done by Nicole Kidman)
I bought my mum this Eau de Parfum from Paris last year. Young folks might don't like the smell, but this is definitely the numero uno for classy, prestigious woman. When you can find a man who can say, "Hmm... Chanel N° 5. Classy," you know you can rely on him :)
Just remember: your mum or grandmum would love it!
