Heartbreak Kid

Alright, so, maybe I'm supposed to write something, or at least post anything, related to my 24 hours in Hong Kong. But I don't feel that mood today, somehow I feel like I have something bothering my mind for many, many days. and it's a cons of that blissfully delighting 24 hours because I can say, it's painful.

see, I hate serious things. I dislike writing about it too, but I feel like, well I need to. so please LEAVE if you don't wanna read a sad story.

So, the night before I left for Hong Kong, I checked out Facebook and found out that A has changed his relationship status. I thought I'd cry when I hear about it, but I didn't. Seriously, NO. I was just like, get break up soon, son of a bitch.

I've been singing Jason Mraz's You and I Both for days before i know the news, especially the part ...if nothing else i'll think the bells inside/have finally found you someone else/and that's okay/cause i'll remember everything you say... In fact, true, it's okay. But still i'm one vulnerable poor little helpless girl who'd like to say that I'm happy for them but that would be a lie. Because I'm not. and I never will. Now i think will never sing that song again.

I called Nabilla right away and she said I don't have feelings for him anymore, that's why I didn't cry. and that it's just my brain that thinks I still do but in fact, no. well, I don't know... we weren't really friends, technically i never really know him, never have never will. and i finally realised that maybe it's just that i'm not really moving on... yet. For many times ahead I will always remember that he was here...

I'll get over myself real soon.

(P.S. I'll probably write or post something about HK, but I don't know. lol)

Blogging Distraction

Don't blame me if from now on I won't post anything quiet interesting. There's a lot of distractions that keeps me away from updating this page. Twitter, celebrity gossips, myspace (yes, I open it again, why not?) and so on... Whew. I think I gotta get some more time for a real life now. Ciao! :D

oh, and one more thing: don't bother looking for comments button because now there isn't any. I decided not to show it because I won't be here for some time anyway. so cheers for not blogging for a while now! Toodles! :)))))

Tilang!

Shit happens. But this one is a very funny shit I've ever heard.

I knew it. in the end i regret it because it doesn't even take a psychic to know what my chem test would be). Maceeeeeet banget deh kewl.

But that's definitely not about it.

Setelah macet dimana-mana, akhirnya sekitar jam 5-an sampai di daerah ruko-ruko Senayan Apartment. I can't narate all the details, tapi pokoknya ditilang lah ya.

ugh. udahlah gue lagi belajar kimia, ditangkep polisi lagi. son of a bitch. gue deg2an, panik, I hate polices. I think they look mean even just in the way they standing.

well we all know how the polices in Jakarta are. bahkan mungkin di seluruh Indonesia juga gitu kali. jadi pasti ketebak kan gimana kira-kira nyokap gue menyelesaikan masalah tilang itu? YES, money talk.

Mama: Udahlah Pak, damai aja (menyerahkan 75rb dengan cara salam tempel)
Polisi: Aduh Bu...
Mama: Udahlah Pak, saya buru-buru!
Polisi: Ya tunggu dulu dong Bu! Nanti kan saya dilihat orang saya malu!
gue: lmao.

HAH? jadi punya malu juga? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH really, I can't stop laughing my ass off.

Music Gigs I'd Kill To Watch

#1. Damien Rice
Lullabies that have brought me to a lot of places; dreams, realities, knowledge (not school subjects). Helped by fellow Irish songtress with angelic voice Lisa Hannigan, I'd definitely kill for this one! (I even followed him on Twitter!)

#2. The Virgins
You who haven't heard of this band might live under the rocks or something. They've been heard in Gossip Girl, the sexy frontman Donald Cumming has been rumored to date Peaches Geldof, and they're one of Cory Kennedy's favorite! Definitely one of the best in New York music scene (from a lot of NY bands, as seen on Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist)

#3. Green Day
I always thought that they will never come near Indonesia.... however, maybe someday they will!

#4. Radiohead
The greatness of how they sound, cleverness of their lyrics, must be clear enough to explain their awesomeness.

#5. John Mayer
Womanizer, Grammy's Best Male Vocal... well, no need further reason.

#6. James Morrison
Cheesy? Who fucking cares. Love him as much as we love Jim Morrison! ...I never thought that I'd love someone/that was someone else's dream...

#7. Kanye West
The best rapper I know, musically and attitude-ly.

#8. Arctic Monkeys
Nggak ada ampun, HARUS HARUS HARUS! The only band that I even buy their EPs.

#9. Maroon 5
Shit mereka hanya ke Singapore waktu itu. Kapan ke Indonesianya, Mr. Levine?

#10. Coldplay
Well, it's not funny if I don't put them in the list considering what I'll be doing in the next few days :D

Haven't I Told You?

NOT to copy me in ANYTHING?

Thanks to me I won't post anything that will make people see how much you've copied me, bitch.

Thanks to me! Me, the one you've been copying.

Copying is today's biggest no-no. It's not even in anymore. Please grow up.

(no, regular readers, I'm not talking to you. so don't bother giving comments)

don't PLAY while it's COLD

God I hate this fckin day!! Biology and German test today, chem test tomorrow, math on Monday and physics on Tuesday....... shoot me now.

Ditambah lagi masuk jam 1. Ugh maunya apa sih sekolah gue.

AND COLDPLAY! UGH DAY TO DAY THESE BOYS JUST RUINING EVERYTHING GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

i've let go almost all that lovely things--konser Rihanna, java jazz festival, another eurotrip in summer with family--just for these 4 British blokes and now it's getting even more frustrating.

daaaays before today, masalahnya terletak pada nyokap gue.
"Jauh banget sih kamu mau nonton Coldplay aja pake ke mana-mana tauk!"
setelah luluh:"Tunggu ya, mama lagi cari tiket pesawat yang murah."
setelah mulai mencari:"Cari hotel dulu."
setelah lama nggak ngebahas:"Aduh tiket pesawatnya cuma dapet 1, satunya lagi waiting list. apa kamu sendiri aja?" (ya nggak mungkinlah ma, daddy won't allow me!)
kemarin:"Dapet dek tiketnya, hotelnya juga. kamu tinggal cari tiketnya ya!"

gue, kemarin: YAAAAYYYY!! GOD I KNOW YOU LOVE ME, AND I REALLY LOVE YOU BACK!

padahal udah masuk shopping cart-nya, udah ditulis sih gue udah beli gitu ya, but i still don't know what to do now!!! kewl.
gue takutnya, credit card nyokap udah keburu dipotong. sementara sekarang masih jam 09.23, mau telepon ke sana juga baru mulai kerjanya jam 10.00 (fyi, no time gap between HK and JKT)

somebody heeeeelp me!

After High School

somebody considered getting married after high school?

i like that kind of person. life seems like a very simple game.

my friend, who's graduating this year, has been accepted in 4 different schools, all in abroad univ. right, PM? good job, ms. smartieee!

my senior, who went to holiday last summer with me, has been accepted in Juilliard School of Drama, Music and Dance. in NYC.

they say, 13 of my seniors has been accepted lewat PMDK UI.

my another friend, has been accepted in some private university's medical schools.

what's waiting for me, huh? i don't even know where i'm going. i could spend days just thinking about it. anyway, it doesn't mean i don't have my own dream school

Now this is my dream school!

Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge University.

Dumb enough, my friend? It is one of many colleges in Cambridge, doh!

why is it a dream?

because Cambridge doesn't accept dumbs
because it costs 3 billion rupiah for Indonesian students
because there's almost no Indonesian student in Cambridge
because it is located in the central Cambridge and has one of the cheapest bar because it is a student-run bar
and sooo many other becauses that i'm not sure i actually understand.

I dream of studying Classics, but it requires Latin IGCSE while in Indonesia we're like, "Gosh, Latin???" And of course, they need As, not Bs or others. UGH.

What a very scary thing to think about the whole thing about college is.
Anyways, soon, it's gonna be too late.

X

O: Are we still friends?
A: I don't know....I-I'd like to say yes but... I'd be lying if I do.

So x, I don't know what else to say to you but honestly, I blame myself for hating you.

I hope you understand that you need to be a friend.
not a fan.

I hope you'll learn what friends do.
not just what you call being friendly.

I hope soon you'll realize that I'm doing this on purpose. so that in the future it won't happen to you again.

I hope you'll grow up, to be a friend of somebody, to be someone who don't make friends with benefits.

I hope you understand what friend actually means.

I learned a new language

means:

The only items which are known to the world food, female, sleep

This week on history

This week is, well, sucks.

The only good news came on Tuesday. When I was so freakin bored at school, I checked my email and there was an email from Edward! The subject is tipical english jokes.

Rasanya kayak kena serangan jantung. Like there was a lightning striking me (haha, trust me, it's true!) I waited days until I can read it on my laptop and when I check it out... I was the only non-Italian contact he sent it to........

GOD WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING HERE???

I don't know, maybe I was so anti-social atau emang gue ga kenal orang-orang itu, tapi yang gue tahu ada di grup Italy dalam daftar recipients-nya itu cuma 2 orang lagi dan salah satunya ya temen sekolahnya. Terus juga cuma ada satu contact yang dia save namanya, so probably that's the purple-haired girlfriend.

I wanted to reply it, I was pretty sure for that but then... well no. I guess better not. Or should I???

JAKARTA MACET MEN. Gue sampe di rumah jam 9! Uggghhhh

in the memories that will never fade....

astrid and me, outside my house, hahahaha

....or at least I hope it is.

I actually have forgot some, but yesterday and today some of my friends from holiday remind me a lot about this once-in-a-lifetime experience. so if you're bored of my summer story, leave now.

I didn't know that Indonesian kids could be so tacky but here's the hint: Bule Ganteng/Cantik. I remember we just arrived at Heathrow, a guy and a girl from EF Oxford picked us up and bring sandwiches with yoghurts. The guy was, well, cute, and he got a lovely hair cut too. Gue sengaja nanya cara memilih sandwich no ham padahal it was so easy! Hahahaha! Terus pas kita lagi nunggu bus gitu, I was chit-chatting with all my friends and suddenly this guy (who later we know from our friend who went to Oxford, Neris, named Daniel) ngelewatin kerumunan kami dan mengibaskan rambutnya ala iklan sampo anti ketombe. HAAHAHAHAHAH WHAT A BLOKE. berasa ganteng dia.

Catharina reminded me of the last day of the school where we play Blue vs Ping Ping. Jadi waktu itu, guru gue, Ms. Sangeeta, divided the class into 2 big groups. And my captain was Alessandro, y'know, the popular, Abercrombie kinda hunk... I forgot why he was my captain, tapi pokoknya begitulah ya. It was so funny, I can't write all the funny stuffs about it! Anyway, I was on the blue team. Jadi sebenernya gini, Ms. Sangeeta told us to name our group with any names, whatevs, it could be tigers or anything. And then this funny guy named Riccardo, raised his hand and said he wanted his group to be named "Ping Ping". everybody laughed their ass off, I didn't know where he get that name from! Later on I found out that it was the name of Korean woman who's the hostparent of him and Edoardo. Yes, Ricca and Edo were housemates. I recently found out that they won the olimpiadi della mathematica together too. Ya udah akhirnya kita asalan aja namain grup jadi "Blue". Sooooo good to be in the normal group!

The game was just to answer the questions faster than the opponent. Guess what? The Ping Ping, with Riccardo in it, was so funny they were like making jokes rather than answering questions! At one point, one person from each group has to write the word 'balloon' on the board, the fastest will win. Alessandro as my captain yang mewakili Blue, dan dari Ping Ping adalah Sanna. UUGH SWEET GOD HE COULDN'T WRITE IT! Hahahahaa! I can't remember who scored the most for Blue but we had a tie-break.

It was so freaking funny. Ms Sangeeta said, "Please write the word archaeology," I can do it, seriously. But I was so shy (ha ha ha) jadi gue diem aja. Ms. Sangeeta asked, "Now who can?" Dengan pedenya, I raised a hand! "Oh I can do better!" "Yup, that's right," kata Ms. Sangeeta. Blue wins! Ooh it felt so great to score a victory. In fact it felt even better because Edoardo was there.... hahahaha!

Other than that is we watched "HITCH". For me, it was the first time. I guess most of classmates too. "In big cities, no, it's not dubbed. but in smaller cities, yes." I can't imagine nonton film Hollywood di Blok M pake bahasa Indonesia, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! what a very thoughtful idea anyway, not everyone enjoys watching with subtitles.

One funny thing about Edoardo is that, he's this very plain guy, he wore the same white T for 4 days in a row to school, but his girlfriend was, well, extra-ordinary! With purple hair and extreme sense of fashion, the two walked together was a very weird, yet completing-each-other kind of couple. he's a snob, you know? sombongnya parrrah. Ratih dan Asti pernah ketemu dia dan Riccardo di stasiun... well, maybe Harrow&Wealdstone, he was sitting on a fence, dan ga menegur sama sekali! I don't really remember tapi seinget gue menurut cerita mereka, Riccardo aja ngomong sesuatu gitu. Yeah, maybe Edo just don't wanna be org yang dicap sksd, hehe.

And going to England is nothing if you don't rub shoulders with something like football (or soccer, if you're so American). I remember that, maybe I haven't been a week in London, ada final Euro 2008. I've been waiting for it like crazy! With this very dumb thought gue pikir gue akan bisa menontonnya karena tengah malam gue pasti udah ada di rumah. Ternyata, I was in Europe dan pertandingan itu live hanya beda paling 1 jam dari jam di London! Jadilah, saat gue lagi berjalan pegeeel banget sama temen-temen gue mau naik kereta (dunno where, somewhere hectic like Oxford Circus or something) we saw a group of men wearing Spanish jersey. OOH TORRES! gue mau nangis rasanya ga bisa nonton. Germany vs. Spain would be so dramatic! I love Germany!

The next day, I was on my way to The Big Ben, seeing the famous 10 Downing Street (yang ternyata nyempil dan nggak norak kayak rumah pejabat di sini), gue baca di koran Metro gratisan dari stasiun bahwa Jerman kalah. On the picture, Podolski was crying... oh shit man. And turns out ternyata cuma gue diantara 28 grup London yang mendukung Jerman! Eeerrghhhh!

One day I went to Emirates Stadium in Highbury&Islington with Ratih, Asti and Catharina. we met these two Italian boys also in London with EF, Angelo and Claudio. Claudio is kind of gorgeous, yeah... hahahaha. he took a picture of us and we had this really short small talk. Later we met them at the disco... with their girlfriends. Hahahahahaha! In front of the Emirates Stadium, there was this pile of Arsenal souvenirs and a big picture of a black young man. Maybe he was murdered there, or... well, scary as hell.

I can never forget about Ben Kinsella. You can google him and found that he's a very good-looking guy with angelic face. and what happened to him was so tragic. He was stabbed to death 11 times on his abdomen, in Islington! He was the brother of Brooke Kinsella, former East Enders (a British TV soap opera) actress. What's so ironic is that he got good result for his IGCSE essay, writing about the day that he dies.

the first day I went home alone, it was so frustrated. yes I was with my roomie debby but we both were map dummies. London A-Z on my hands but I still got lost! I remember it was almost 1 in the morning, amazingly freezing, dark... have you watched "House of Wax" Paris Hilton version? suasananya sepi, dingin, lembab... misterius bangetlah. And suddenly I realised that there was this man in his late 20s in his car, staring at us smiling like a bloody old pervert! Eww! I was almost crying at the time. Thank God I called my hostparent, Mary Mesmain, and asked for her guide home.*sigh

that's the sad part of Harrow. Harrow isn't the best part of London, y'know, but Dev Patel was born in Harrow! I wonder if he was my neighbour! Hahahahahaha!

More stories later, maybe. If someone will remind me again, hehe. Toodles!
